This Sunday on Fine Tuning I’ll be featuring “Passage du Desir,” the new release from Johnny Blue Skies (aka Sturgill Simpson). This album is deservedly receiving rave reviews, with Pitchfork saying that Sturgill expertly balances cosmic and outlaw country and reintroduces himself as the premier Nashville outsider.
